Michelene graduated as a veterinary technician from the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus in 2015 and joined the Guelph Cat Clinic team in the spring of 2017. It was as a mature student that Michelene, who always facinated by animals, attended the program and truly discovered her passion was really directed towards feline medicine.

In her spare time, Michelene enjoys Table Top Role Playing games such as Dungeon’s and Dragons, as well as playing video games. She and her husband share their home with two rescue cats: Lady and Stormageddon, and their two mixed breed dogs: Sabine and Rayla.

Sarah is an April 2020 graduate from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan College. She received her RVT license the following July and joined the Guelph Cat Clinic team in August. She is currently finishing her Undergraduate Degree in Biology online with Trent University. Although Sarah is passionate about all animals, she enjoys working with cats the best!

Sarah keeps busy at home with her 2 horses (Storm & B-Bop), 2 dogs (Sable & Hazel), 3 ducks (Schmicker, Chrissy, & Dr. Grant), Honduran Milksnake (Elle), and 8 kitties (Barn- Walter, Dorothy, Tom; House- Indiana Jones, Tiger, Pepper, Zephyr, & Cinderella). Her other hobbies include gardening, duck wrangling, volleyball, and horseback riding.

Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Melissa joined the team in May of 2021 as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Zoology and has been working within veterinary clinics since 2013. She is a big animal welfare advocate and hopes to improve the lives of animals in her future career.

When she is not working with either cats or horses between her two clinic jobs, Melissa can be found hiking or biking the Guelph trails as a member of the Guelph Hiking Trails Club. In addition she has four animals to take care of; two cats, Marie and Belle and two Guinea Pigs, Doe and Pepper.

Kendra joined the Guelph Cat Clinic team in January 2022. Her love of creatures great and small has always played a major role in her life. She graduated from Queen’s Unıversity in 2008 and has a background in theatre arts and education. While studying Drama, she volunteered at the Kingston Humane Society, where she first became captivated by cats. It was there that she adopted her feline family member, Gabby. While working as an ESL teacher abroad, Kendra volunteered at an animal shelter in South Korea and cared for cats and dogs as a pet sitter in Istanbul, Turkey, where she also adopted her cat-loving dog, Leya.

She considers herself truly fortunate to be working with and learning from the knowledgeable and warm-hearted team at the Guelph Cat Clinic! There is truly no job like contributing to the well-being of our furry and fabulous friends!

In her spare time, Kendra enjoys singing and dancing shamelessly in the living room with her family, exploring the outdoors, and trying her hand at writing children’s stories. She has always fostered a deep love and respect for animals in young people, and is a proud mom to a budding young ‘‘cat-whisperer’’ and aspiring ‘‘animal rescuer.’’

Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Uneeb joined the Guelph Cat Clinic team in January 2022 as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. He has been working with animals since 2017, at the Toronto Wildlife Centre and a few clinics in the Greater Toronto Area before moving back to Guelph and starting here at the Cat Clinic. Uneeb grew up around many animals including rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and cows and always had a soft spot for the feral cats and dogs he encountered when living in Pakistan.

Following his lifelong passion of working with animals, Uneeb graduated with a HBSc degree in Zoology from the University of Guelph in 2019 with aspirations to return to school for a DVM degree. When he is not working at the clinic, you may spot him longboarding around the city, spending time with his friends playing video games and cheering for Toronto sports teams.
