Spay or Neuter

We recommend that your kitten be spayed or neutered between the ages of five and six months. Not only is this routine surgery helpful in the prevention of unwanted future reproduction, but it can also curb certain negative behaviors and has been proven to have several health benefits. Because these procedures require the use of anaesthesia, we highly recommend that your cat receive pre-surgical blood work beforehand to ensure that he or she is healthy enough for surgery. You also have the option to have your cat microchipped at this time, which can aid in the safe return of your pet should they become lost.
