Diagnostics

Just as with people, many of the medical conditions your cat may suffer from cannot be easily detected on the surface of the skin. Veterinary diagnostics are valuable tools that provide us with the opportunity to identify, diagnose and treat these conditions in a timely manner. Not only does early detection improve our chances of helping your cat overcome whatever is ailing them, but it’s also much more cost effective for you.

At Guelph Cat Clinic, we offer a wide range of diagnostic services for our clients, from routine blood, urine and fecal tests, to more in-depth procedures such as ultrasound. Additionally, our convenient on-site laboratory helps us to achieve fast and accurate test results. We also use specialized labs, such as Idexx and the University of Guelph for specialized testing. Our goal is to quickly and efficiently manage any potential health issues your cat may be experiencing so that we can help return them to their normal, healthy lifestyle as soon as possible.
