Lyrel graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She worked in a few different fields but after working at retail stores like Rens Pets and Petsmart she knew she wanted to pursue a career involving animals. In 2019 she completed the Veterinary Receptionist program at Sheridan College.
She started as a receptionist with the Guelph Cat Clinic in 2018 and by 2020 assumed the role as Practice Manager. She spent a short time managing another companion animal hospital in 2022 and happily returned to the Guelph Cat Clinic in January 2023.
In January 2024 Lyrel adopted a bonded pair of kittens from the Guelph Humane Society named Calvin Fischoeder and Felix Fischoeder. When she isn’t working at the clinic she spends her spare time reading, baking and watching her favourite TV series.

Currently, Mason shares his home with his fifteen year-old, Kiki, who was found on the University of Guelph Campus. Oustide of the clinic, Mason is training in competitive kickboxing and plans to compete at both the local and provincial levels. In addition to kickboxing, Mason also enjoys rock climbing and cooking, as well as playing video games.

In her spare time, Michelene enjoys Table Top Role Playing games such as Dungeon’s and Dragons, as well as playing video games. She and her husband share their home with two rescue cats: Lady and Stormageddon, and their mixed breed dog Sabine.

With having a wide range of experiences with animals from growing up on a hobby farm with horses, chickens, ducks, and turkeys, working on beef cattle farms, having traveled to Thailand learning veterinary medicine for cats, dogs, and elephants, leading a team while working with a wide variety of exotics, and working in small animal emergency medicine, Emma is excited to learn how to widen their knowledge on fear free feline medicine.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her cats Broom and Pumpkin, her dog Medli, and her cockatiel Queenie.
Brianna graduated from Seneca Polytechnic’s Veterinary Technician program in April 2024 and joined the Cat Clinic team June of the same year. Brianna has a special interest in feline medicine and is excited to start her career in a feline centric practice.

Her keen interest in feline medicine drew her specifically to the Guelph Cat Clinic to learn more about feline behaviour and the application of feline friendly techniques. She aims to further her education in the veterinary field.
Outside of the clinic, Stephanie can often be found enjoying time with friends, spending time outdoors, or cuddling her beloved cat Mia.

Uneeb joined the Guelph Cat Clinic team in January 2022 as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. He has been working with animals since 2017, at the Toronto Wildlife Centre and a few clinics in the Greater Toronto Area before moving back to Guelph and starting here at the Cat Clinic. Uneeb grew up around many animals including rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and cows and always had a soft spot for the feral cats and dogs he encountered when living in Pakistan.
Following his lifelong passion of working with animals, Uneeb graduated with a HBSc degree in Zoology from the University of Guelph in 2019 with aspirations to return to school for a DVM degree. When he is not working at the clinic, you may spot him longboarding around the city, spending time with his friends playing video games and cheering for Toronto sports teams.
Dabe is currently a student at the University of Guelph working toward his zoology degree. He has been working in the veterinary field for 7 years and is incredibly grateful to have joined the Guelph Cat Clinic in the summer of 2022.
