Adult Pet Wellness

Just like people, adult cats should have regular physical exams.  For every year that goes by, your adult cat ages 4 years and, as we all know, a lot can change in 4 years.

Here are the Guelph Cat Clinic’s recommendations for adult cats annual check-up. Our Wellness Plan for adult cats includes:

"Meow is like aloha- it can mean anything" Hank Ketchum (Cartoonist (1920-2001))

Annual Visit           Reason
Physical examination including dental assessment and weight evaluation  Looking for any health problems, including weight gain and dental disease
General health and behavioral consultation  Aids in identifying certain medical problems
Fecal examination OR deworming  Outdoor cats will be dewormed, indoor cats will have a fecal examination
Complimentary nail trim throughout the year
Update vaccinations  Recommended vaccines will vary with your cat’s lifestyle. Please note that in Wellington County, Rabies vaccination is mandatory for all pets, even those living  indoors
